Reports To: This is a mid-level position reporting to the CEO/Board of Imuka Access.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

  • Work on behalf of the CEO and Board to deliver Imuka’s Operations plan to ensure the ongoing growth and success of Imuka Access.
  • Act as a strong figurehead for Imuka; a positive ambassador and leader to employees and partners.
  • Build and manage partner relationships.
  • As required, to report on operations and administration to the CEO/ Board.
  • Represent the interests of Imuka operating staff, to the CEO/Board.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project Planning and Management: Defining a concise project scope and implementation of activities focused on attaining organizational delivery; Leading project statuses whilst managing working with a risk register to align project progress
  • Team Management and Building; Ability to work and build teams accountable to company goals; proper use of company resources to help teams meet their goals
  • Process Management and Improvement; Defining a clear and precise project management process whose work plan delivers results for all Imuka’s stake holders (entrepreneurs, partners and investors). Facilitate organizational strategic decision making
  • Oversee operations budgets, expenditure and management accounts ensuring that income and expenditure is within business plan targets and properly recorded
  • Take overall responsibility for achieving, monitoring and reporting on performance against targets in all operational areas of the Company’s activities, taking appropriate action as required

Special Skills and Requirements

  • Business Development Degree or its equivalent
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of operations and analytical skills in the tech industry
  • Outstanding communication skills for team work in a work environment
  • A working knowledge of financial planning management and reporting.
  • Previous experience of management within a multicultural context and of managing multicultural operational teams especially within the tech industry
  • Whilst a strong business/management background is not a prerequisite, the ability and motivation to develop a good understanding of business growth models in the tech industry is desirable.
  • A ‘hands-on’, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
  • Must be able to work under pressure and multi task
